Tulip Town & Roozengarde Shoot Day

I must say that experiencing spring in Washington is a must-see and breath-catching experience. I never really had all other seasons besides summer and deathly summer and coming to Washington with its brutally gloomy winter I did not know what to expect but it certainly was not this beautiful spring experience.

Everyone told me I need to check out Tulip Town and Roozengarde to see tulips blooming and get the PNW experience.

Roozengaarde

LOCATION: 15867 Beaver Marsh Rd, Mt Vernon, WA 98273

Notes: Preferentially I like Roozengaarde far more than tulip town because the tulips were actually fully bloomed and not being harvested right in front of us like it was at Tulip Town. But, Tulip Town did have more IG-worthy shoot moments but I personally did not participate in them since I no longer felt like changing my outfit (lol) I was all shoot out.

Plan Your Trip

- Tickets must be purchased prior at $15 per person for 3-hour max, for each individual field
-Roozengarde features, lovely garden displays, a mini Roozengaarde windmill along with concessions stand, and a souvenir shop
-Tulip Town Features IG photoshoot areas, a concession stand/ bar, and a farmers market area.
- Both fields sell bouquets of Tulips
-While in the area check out the local Wineries and do a wine tasting

Visit a Winery

Once you're done at the tulip fields you might as well check out a winery some of them do require a reservation beforehand but some also walk in’s. I did a wine tasting at Tulip Valley Winery as a walk-in and ended up with two delicious bottles of wine.

IG WORTHY SHOOT SPOTS 2021 VERSION
- Old school wooden frame shoot spot
- Flatbed rustic truck with flowers & plants
- A cute little hut

By the time we made it to Tulip Town I was all pictured out and it was kind of a relief since this field was not a lovely as the Roozengarde field. The tulip were being harassed while we were there so it seemed more sparse. This one also had a concession stand just like Roozengarde but with more of a farmers market feel. Also, along with buying the tulips you could also get kettle corn and beer which I personally thought was super random, but yeah.
